Quality of Life: Chasing the Canadian Dream From the Middle

The time when a house could be bought within the city of Toronto for less than $800,000 and two months of bidding wars seems fictional. When did we lose the value of our work, and how can anyone hope to build a meaningful life in the new paradigm of Ford Nation?
When did society allow the “common man” to lead us into box store hell, fast food purgatory and suburban paradise?
